On Friday, June 13, 2025, Palazzani Industrie officially celebrated its 90th anniversary in the picturesque setting of the “Tabaccaia” in Castrezzato (BS), a former tobacco factory from the early 20th century, now transformed into an elegant event space.

An evening full of emotion and meaning, designed to pay tribute to the company’s long history and the key players who, over three generations, have built its success. The event was an opportunity to review the highlights of this journey, but also to share the future vision of the company, which has always been focused on innovation, quality and continuity of family values.

An exciting journey spanning nine decades

Marking the most significant moments of the evening was a celebratory video, which traced, decade by decade, the milestones of Palazzani Industrie:

from the founding of “Falegnameria Palazzani,” founded by Davide Palazzani and his brothers, to the transformation into “Palazzani F.lli” in 1935 with his sons Renato, Alfredo and Luigi, to the founding of “Officine Fratelli Palazzani – Officina Meccanica” (OFP). During World War II, the company began production of steel components for Breda anti-aircraft machine guns, and then evolved rapidly in the following years with international collaborations, such as with Ford, and the development of new machines such as hydraulic loaders, agricultural shovels, backhoe excavators, and cranes.

In 1962 came a milestone: the “Storm 61,” the world’s first wheel loader with four equal-diameter drive wheels. Other important milestones followed: the birth of the PALOAD brand, the production of the first truck-mounted aerial platforms in 1983, and in 1990 the invention of the world’s first tracked Ragno aerial platform, the TSP 28, followed by the TSP 22/24 model, which opened a new chapter in the history of the industry.

In the 2000s the company consolidated its position by launching more and more advanced models, including the first fully ECO aerial platform presented at Bauma 2010, until the recent opening of the new Palazzani North America subsidiary, the generational change with Paola Palazzani President and Francesco Zola CEO, and the launch of the new Ragno TZJ 160 and TZJ 180 platforms presented at Bauma 2025.

Paola Palazzani’s speech and the legacy of family leadership

In her touching speech, Paola Palazzani extended heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed to the company’s growth: employees, customers, partners and suppliers, emphasizing that Palazzani’s real strength is the people and stories behind each achievement. “This anniversary is not just a number; it is a chapter in a history of sacrifice, innovation and, above all, extraordinary people,” he said.

“Our story is a testimony to tenacity, team spirit and adaptability. But also of a clear and courageous vision: that of always striving for excellence. Now, with our hearts filled with gratitude, we turn our eyes to the future. Ninety years are just the beginning of a new phase, which we want to write together. With the same determination, passion and confidence that have guided us so far.”

Paola then paid a heartfelt tribute to her father, Davide Palazzani, who led the company for more than 40 years with determination and vision, leaving an indelible imprint.

Confindustria Brescia and Assodimi celebrate 90 years of Palazzani Industrie.

During the evening, Matteo Meroni, vice-president of Confindustria Brescia, presented Paola Palazzani with a commemorative plaque to celebrate the important milestone reached in the industrial landscape.

Marzia Giusto, representing the Assodimi-Assonolo association, also awarded the company with a plaque, emphasizing that reaching 90 years in business is an extraordinary achievement, reserved for very few in the industry.

TZJ 160 and TZJ 180: the new Spider platforms symbolize compactness and sustainability

Welcoming guests at the entrance to the location were two new flagship products in Palazzani’s range: the new Ragno TZJ 160 and TZJ 180 platforms, compact, lightweight, with double telescopic articulated boom with jib, designed to meet the needs of a market increasingly focused on sustainability, maneuverability and ease of use.

The two platforms are a perfect example of active market listening and innovation capacity, values that have always distinguished Palazzani’s vision.

“For these ninety years, and for the ninety years to come, we are ready to write an even greater history.”

Happy birthday, Palazzani Industries.
