Palazzani Industrie has appointed Claudio Teoldi as its new export sales director. His initial focus will be to develop major key accounts across Europe, along with supporting existing customers and expanding the dealer network.

Tell us about your professional career and the experiences that led you to become Foreign Sales Director of Palazzani Industrie.

I have been working for more than 25 years in Brembo S.p.A., a worldwide leader company for braking systems for passenger cars, motorcycles and Racing.

I have been Race Engineer for many years for different auto Racing categories first and then I moved on the 2 wheels market; meanwhile I was appointed as Market Manager with the aim to develop a worldwide distributors network while developing the product portfolio along with the sales strategies for Performance Parts.

How do you want to develop key customers in Europe? Have you identified priority areas?

Of course one of the most competitive market in Europe is Germany, but we are focusing to increase our market share within Austria, Swiss, Benelux and the Norther regions; one of the key to be successful is to listen the market and understand what is requested by our partners; Palazzani is first of all a technical driven company and I am sure we will reach our customer expectations.

What strategies will you use to support existing customers and expand your dealer network?

I strongly believe that good relations and trust are the most important key points in business to establish durable connections. Our target is to transform the market requirements into products, because this is what our partners ask and need to penetrate the market. We are actively working to increase the range of platforms in order to cover the complete range and some of them will be already showcased at Bauma.

How do you think your 25 years of experience in the automotive industry will influence your approach to the aerial platform market?             

The automotive market is very competitive and technically driven: every project has its own requests, development schedule and price target. I will approach the aerial platform market in this way: we need to focus on what the market needs and push on development, which is the only key to stay ahead against the competitors. As I previously said, Palazzani is a 90-years-old company driven by passion and technic, I can say that Palazzani invented the spider platforms, so we know exactly what to do to increase our market share.

What is the main message you would like to convey to international partners and customers for the next period?

2025 is an exciting year for Palazzani, as it will be the 90th anniversary of the company; we are organizing many activities, seminars and events. With the same enthusiasm we want to work with our partners to reach their expectations, increase the market share and push even more on development.
